Missing glyphs are exported to svg used when I try to generate the hanzi pinyin font myself

I've tried:

• Running the program as-is
• Running test/fetch-fonts.bash first
• Copying a different version of DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf into the fonts dir (4.5mb instead of 100kb)
• Building https://github.com/parlr/chinese-data and running with --data ../chinese-data/src/codepoint-ruby.json

None of these options have worked without the missing glyphs being exported to svg
