How does this incorporate to normal Doom Emacs?

Stumbled across this a few days ago, seems like just what I need.

So if I'm doing the manual install, and only git clone from this repo, will it be wiping out my custom doom config that I already have?

Do I need to go into the doom init and uncomment the ruby/rails parts there?
