Overview

The first-ever Cosmos™ Cookoff is a hands-on physical AI challenge for developers, researchers, and system builders in robotics, autonomous vehicles, and vision AI. We are celebrating what’s possible when teams leverage Cosmos Cookbook recipes such as our latest research, Cosmos Policy to push the boundaries of physical AI. The cookoff invites developers to explore similar recipes and build innovative solutions with Cosmos Reason 2, a leaderboard-topping, open reasoning vision language model that helps AI agents and autonomous systems see, understand, and act in the physical world like humans.

Getting Started

• Register here for the challenge, if not already. Each participant needs to register and identify their team.
• Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from NVIDIA with instructions and resources.
• Join the community at NVIDIA Developer Discord for announcements, to claim credits, for technical discussions, expert support, and to report any issues.
• Thank you for the overwhelming response! Nebius credits are now fully exhausted due to high participation. Participants joining from this point onward should plan to use their own compute resources.
• Familiarize yourself with Cosmos Reason 2 before you start your project towards building something great with it. Check out the Cosmos Cookbook for recipes as inspiration.
• Refer to the Nebius documentation for more details on creating instances, managing virtual machines, group access and more.
• Submit your project following the instructions in the section below.
  Note: Participants may skip this step if they choose a different hardware or cloud service provider.

Nebius Cloud - Getting Started

1. Login to Nebius Cloud Console. For more details, visit Documentation. You can use google / github / microsoft logins.

2. Complete your billing setup. For more details, visit our Docs

• Click on billing on the left sidebar.
• Complete your billing details
• You will need to enter a valid Credit Card. You - and you will be charged $25. (This is done to minimize fraud)

3. Apply Cosmos Cookoff promo code

• Click on the ‘Apply promo code’ button in the billing section. Promo codes will be distributed through an email from NVIDIA
• Enter your promo code

Working as a Team on Nebius Cloud

If you form a team for the hackathon, all team members can share resources under a project.
Here is how:

1. Team lead to create an account. Follow the steps listed above.
2. Create a project to collaborate
   Recommended region : eu-north1

3. Invite your team members to the project

• Go to: Administration → IAM → Invites
• Invite your team member using their email
• Recommended role: editor

4. Apply Promocode
   Use the promo code you received.
