Claude Code Not Using Serena As Much As Conversation Grows

I've been using Serena as a MCP server this week with Claude Code. When you start a new session with CC Serena is a very active participant in the conversation but as the conversation grows Serena's participation is less and less to the point where it's never used again.

I'm I doing something wrong? Do I have to explicitly have to tell CC to use Serena's tools?
