in docker setup mysqldump is not found

installed your latest Release in a docker-compose stack with Kimai

There is no /usr/bin/mysqldump in there. Pls advise, how we can fix that ... I'll be happy to provide testing etc

I assume the mysqldump is in the db-container, not in the kimai-container ...

Yes, in the docker-compose stack, the mysql and mysqldump binaries are only available in the db container, but not in the kimai container.

The following commands worked for me, to install the mariadb-client on the fly in the kimai container:

   docker exec --user root kimai apt --allow-releaseinfo-change update
   docker exec --user root kimai apt install -y mariadb-client

Installing packages in docker containers is usually not the way to go. To do it "properly", you could build your own docker image based on the kimai image with the mariadb-client package installed.
