Mullvad Crashes and locks up entire desktop and shutdown

Expected behavior

Mullvad frequently crashes on Linux Mint, LDME7. Problem is, it'll lock itself up, force quit doesnt work. If it does crash, the desktop goes into a mode where you can't soft shutdown the computer or restart. Mint will hang. The only way to fix the deskstop is a hard reset when Mullvad crashes.

This does not happen with LIbreWolf or Firefox. All browsers are flatpak.

It hard locks the desktop when Mullvad crashes

It usually happens when downloading a file, but I've not been able to reproduce the crash

Ok I've narrowed it down. The crash/system lockup will only occur when saving to a network drive (in my case an NFS share). If one just downloads to a local folder/downloads folder. The crash doesn't happen.

It's not a 100% reproducible bug but it eventually happen if you use Mullvad Browser long enough by saving files to a network share.
