Assay is now live in the MCP Registry as an MCPB-packaged server

Quick show-and-tell: Assay is now live in the official MCP Registry as io.github.Rul1an/assay-mcp-server.

What it is:

• stdio MCP server / gateway
• policy-enforcing proxy for MCP tool calls
• portable evidence output

What we kept deliberately small in v1:

• one canonical registry entry
• MCPB package, not a loose binary tarball
• no separate assay mcp wrap registry identity
• Linux-focused MCPB publish surface for now

The main thing we wanted to get right was publication truth: the registry entry is generated from a real release asset (assay-mcp-server-v3.5.1-linux.mcpb) plus its SHA-256, not a hand-maintained metadata file pointing at a renamed tarball.
