Users often already have a logging implementation selected; aligning with SLF4J on JVM will mean seamless use of the user's selected implementation.

Use SLF4J please instead of some random logging library.

Everyone else uses SLF4J, it works well, specifically for this reason

It's not a random logging library. Is one of the popular ones that work in KMP (in non JVM targets). There are other ones also. The kotlin ecosystem is still envolving.

Though, the library that they use, integrates well, automatically, with slf4j. You shouldn't have any problem
