SOLVED (new release): VOLTAGE OF ALL 3 PHASES MISSING ???

I am missing the 3 phases voltage sensors cause I knew that evcc is tracking these as I had seen those during period when we had an overvoltage protection on 1 of our 3 x 4,6 kW Single inverters.
I saw 252 V in evcc while checking something else and then the inverter went down.

The voltage can be found in the evcc log for each phase in this line "charge voltages: [226 240 236]"
But the voltages are missing in ha-evcc afaik

I have checked the hidden sensors of the ha-evcc integration and found 3 for which I had high hopes for to be what I was looking for until they were activated cause the german title seems to me misleading "Netz Phase 1" or "grid phase 1" where I had expected voltage and never currents (which are usually 0 A if the car is not charging).

I have not found any voltage sensor and it would be nice to have them as these are warning indicators for us.

sorry, I have no clue at all cause I am not familiar with that at all, my "skills" are limited in the whole api yaml world.

But you can find these in mqtt too if that helps

I am missing another value or I am too stupid to find, but are very usefull for example here in our energy price chart.

But I will open a feature request for

• batteryGridChargeLimit ( evcc/site/batteryGridChargeLimit )
• smartCostLimit ( evcc/loadpoints/1/smartCostLimit )

We were tibber customers and left last year when the prices during winter exploded and even a 14k Wh battery did not help that much and we had to pay by average over 30 cent per month in the 4.th quarter.
So we went on to octopus and intelligent go tarif which has 2 tarifzones: 0 - 5 am low tarif for charging and rest of the day

There are 2 lines in the chart cause we got 420€ bonus (independent from real consumption) and expect to need 10000 kWh in those 2 years so it is a 4,2 discount and leads to the GREY DOTTED price graph with 27,9 cent during daylight instead of 31,9 cent.

And on 11th of november the Smartmeter installation had worked out and we get a 30€ bonus if we let octopus charge the car 5 times a month at least which means to connect the car in the evening to the wallbox and that is it. The car will be charged to what SOC is setup in their app like 80% and a departure time like 6 am.

On 13th we got a first 30€ bonus, cause we had smart charged the car a 5th time before and this means 12x 30 = 360€ more Bonus and in 2 years 720€ which means in our case with 10.000 kWh in 2 years 7,2 cent discount.

And the black graph shows the real cost after discount for 10000 kWh - if we would reduce that to 5000 kWh the discount per kWh would even double. Finally: these are price and bonus from Octopus only , not including the §14a compensation which would bring us another 9,5 Cent cause we pay 10,8 cent in the WESTNETZ grid.

Long story to explain that I need and others might too the "batteryGridChargeLimit" from evcc.

If you add this others might also ask for the car price limit too called smartCostLimit

Well - each loadpoint have the Sensor entities Ladestrom P1, Ladestrom P2, Ladestrom P3 (disabled by default) - and this are the values that will match the mqtt path evcc/loadpoints/1/chargeVoltages/l1...

that can not be true cause I am looking for voltage and Ladestrom P1 means "charging current phase 1"

Maybe there is another issue that lade strom is used twice and voltage is missing

And before I had mentioned I had found also another one I had hoped to be voltage but "Netz Phase 1" used "evcc_grid_currents_0" which sound a bit weird cause the grid has only a voltage and no current.

And if that should be a current senor for the energfy going into and coming from the grid it has an error : unknown
Quite unusual that no current is available

If that is the case then "Netz Phase 1" schould be "Netz Spannung P1" and evcc_grid_voltage_0
Might be a bug but 2x the currrents for each phase makes not so much sense unless you talk about the current of what is going into the house - so the total current.

For me grid current for each phase makes not much sense for a sensor named "Netz Phase 1"
But I can be wrong

sorry my bad - I had mixed up things here - in the next release there will be also three (disabled by default) Voltage P1-P3 Sensors per loadpoint

I will do it later when i am home again. Too hesitant to try it remotely with a restart. So I guess on thursday I will be home to update and check more things.

I had messed the same up with a inverter integration where 3 phases were everywhere but it was rather obvious that A would not be right. It could have been Hertz due to the icon or voltage.

At least I learned more about evcc api and where to look .
Do you know if all the evcc mqtt items are published via api or only those mentioned on the evcc api page ?

hab ha-evcc verwechselt mit evcc update, denn das mach ich nicht von unterwegs.

aber keine Voltage Sensoren, obschon 2x HA neu gestartet.
Nix unter Spannung oder Netz, wobei ich Spannung (Netz) P1 bevorzugen würde

Ich denke diese 3 Sensoren sind an sich überflüssig, weil wir ja schon Leistung je Phase haben.

These new Sensor's are Loadpoint dependent - so you must check the Loadpoint devices for the new Sensors ->

Okay, mine is called Ladespannung P1 - 3
and I would not have expected it cause afaik it is the voltage of the meter, not the charger.
For many people not a big difference but if you consider over 30 m cable then the losse per phase are roughly 7 V for us.

Afaik Wallbox's Pulsar Plus is not providing voltage, only power.
