Defaulting to latest instance #5

Hello,
@FORMINSTANCE=visit
... gives me a correct drop-down list, however I would like to default to the latest visit.
@default='1'
... correctly defaults to the first visit.
However, I cannot find a way to point to the the latest instance of the instrument 'visit'?
[visit][latest-instance] is not working
