Suggestion - Apply a trim to destination field in either the settings or when the field is used to copy data

Hey Luke,
Just spent way too long with a user trouble shooting errors in their copy data on save project. Turns out the issue was they had spaces after the field names in the "destination field" settings of the EM. They got these by copy/pasting from the codebook.

Since field names can never have spaces, I would like to suggest that either the destination fields themselves, or whenever they are used when copying data, that a trim function get used to avoid this in the future. Specifically since copy/pasting from the codebook is pretty common.

Sorry it took a while to find that. You should find that the summary page reports that as an error - and the logging should indicate this as the reason for the failed copy too:

Ope, thanks @lsgs we just upgraded to the new version and I had forgotten about that new tool. I saw the same errors in the project log, and my old man eyes took awhile to notice the trailing space on some of the fields.
