Dear Authors of the LBM bible, I enjoy your book and the examples within it. It is fantastic that you supply working source code for some examples!
I was just wondering why you choose to use matlab as language. I understand that matlab is/has been used for scientific computing and many institutions have/had contracts.
However, recently there is a shift towards open languages such as Python or Julia which have a similarish syntax and do not require a subscription. I am well aware that there is Octave, but (and I can be wrong here) the Octave community is somewhat small. If you would like to have an alternate version as .jl file I am happy to create a PR. If not that is fine as well :)
