Help me with wiring a cardiostrong rx40

Hi all

i stumbled across this great project and hoping to make my cardiostrong rx40 smart.

I have no idea how to wire it to anraspi pi

i found a great explosive drawing online. See page 63

Hi,

Off course we'll help. At the exploded view I see component 702, which is the sensor. The drawing suggests it is connected to the pulley, not the flywheel, is that correct?

PS: please consider using https://github.com/JaapvanEkris/openrowingmonitor as it is actively developed and received quite a lot of updates. The laberning branch is NOT compatible with current Raspberry Pi OS versions.

Can you take a picture of the computer (the performance monitor) and the cables that connect to it? How many cables are there? I assume its two, so the sensors currently installed track the handle movement, that is not going to work with ORM as it needs to measure the flywheel spinning.
