It will be an app. The plans for rewrite are very simple, implement everything that is already there on the android app. Thanks to @tim-gromeyer, we already have all basic features already implemented (ear detection, conversational awareness, battery levels, and changing noise control mode). Only a few things like configure long presses and accessibility settings are left. And then there's just things that we still need to reverse engineer. Like, customizing transparency mode, magic pairing and handoff for device switching etc.. sorry for the very delayed response. the linux development was on pause, at least for me, so I didn't really know what to tell you. but thanks to Tim, we do have a really good app now! |

May be or may not be a dumb question but I'll ask anyways. So my question is will it be an app? That's the one thing I missed from windows was the magicpods app, linux deserves a good alternative. So far it looks like you have got it down pat.
My other question would be what are your plans for the rewrite?
Here is some info that may help or may not, just thought I would include it: https://help.magicpods.app/fun-magicaap/
