The boss regenerates my life

Hello good day, I don't know if my case is a mistake but the boss that created, I equipped armor with 100 protection and a 100 edge sword, in addition to 70 damage and a x2 multiplier, and it lowers my life but sometimes I'm not always 5-6-2 hearts away from health and with one hit instead of taking my life it regenerates my hearts, it only happens sometimes, my server is version 1.8

I've been quite busy updating all plugins to 1.21.10 and could not fix your issue yet.

I'm over it right now and if there's actually a bug it should be patched within the next update.

I figured you're using legacy server software, right? Maybe 1.8.8.
Your issue is not reproduceable on newer versions as far as I've tested.

Updating Boss to latest Paper version broke the backward compatibility with legacy versions and I'm working on bringing it back.

Hope you understand that Boss update did not come out yet.

I will reach back to you as soon as I'm able to restore the legacy compatibility and perform further tests.

That's correct sir, it only breaks on 1.8.8. I also tested it on recent versions and it works like a charm.

I was finally able to reproduce this issue on my end as well.

I’ve identified what’s causing it, but I’ll need some input to finalize the fix.

I’ll discuss it with @kangarko tomorrow — we should have it resolved shortly after that.
