Body elements are not selectable for cutting/copying

On Chromium 35 in a Debian system, I can't seem to find how to select text or anything else on the pages. The usual behaviour -- clicking and dragging the mouse -- does nothing. I can try and debug the problem and submit a pull request, but I'm wondering where to look first.

I'm used to disallow the text selection because I don't like when it happens on mobile. But feel free to remove it !
