Hydac HSI sensor similar setup as HLB?

Do your think that same principle will work for Hydac HSI sensor ?
Is serial one wire interface K line 12V at 9600bps. HMG Logger send broadcast via pin5 to HSI sensor and sensor replay and Logger sets the correct sensor range and measurement values. See attached logger on HSI pin5 broadcast and then sensor connect to logger how the entire communication look like. Rename it to .sr open with pulseview.

I want to set HMG3010 to read CAN message but to do so i need to buy very expensive special adapter that send correct HSI signal in order to configured HMG3010 right...

Hello! I think it should work, as both of the sensors have an HSI (HYDAC Sensor Interface).

I was unable to find the HSI protocol documentation, so I used the CMWIN software from the HYDAC website with a USB/RS485 adapter to interface with the sensor. Then, I monitored the serial communication to figure out the request/response frame structure.

Your logs look very similar to mine from CMWIN, also at a 9600 baud rate. You have a single data wire, but it should not matter because the communication is not full-duplex, but rather a request/response protocol.

It is not an easy job, have tried with your code and have not worked.
Do you think that there is CRC at byte #21 for sensor replay?

easier to follow down. The sensor replay with 6pc 22 byte long replay all start with 02 and finish with 03.
Attached in two txt files.
Once the information exchange HMG sets range etc and continues to broadcast a few more times 9byte followed by 255bytes then stops, uncles for how long have not logged that one.
Next is to log with sensors different types and write down serial# etc. I guess that this can also be information that is transmitted.
Since I want to send a configuration message to HMG3010 to switch input for CAN signal I will try to replay those 6 different 22bytes messages to see if HMG accepts it.
