Need to develop an internal function allowing linking ICES Rectangle to upper geographical levels to Regions. This need emerged for the produceSamplingCoverage.R function but may be useful also for other upcoming exported functions.

Update [end] WGRDBES-EST 2024.
The function was developed and is now available here.

Note that some development (to be considered as enhancements) are still needed, namely:

• Complete the plotting by including the possibility to plot geo unit upper than ICES Rectangles (e.g. ICES Subdivision) which requires...
• Include in data the shapefiles for the upper geo categories. These, at least in part, may be available as they were gathered in the RCG RDBES overview context, see here.
