Integration with The Events Calendar & Tickets Plus by Modern Tribe [FEATURE REQUEST] #695

Visitors registering for events are either the customer in Woocommerce (Pays for Event) or the Attendee (People attending the event)
I would like to request an integration with The Event Calendar and Tickets Plus in which Attendees are added to Mailchimp with segmenting, tags, groups etc.
I have researched this extensively and the only option other than custom coding is WP Fusion which is expensive and would be overkill.
The Events Calendar and Tickets Plus are two of the most popular event calendar and ticketing plugins for Wordpress and I am sure this would be profitable. Their support documents state that they have many requests for Mailchimp integration and they refer people to WP Fusion.
I would be happy to assist in any way I can as my business is hosting events for training teachers and we use the plugins extensively.
