BRIGHTNESSUP and BRIGHTNESSDOWN not supported

hey i wanted to set up a gesture to control the brightness of the screen, but fusuma says BRIGHTNESSUP/DOWN is not supported. i am using
fusuma-plugin-sendkey 0.14.0
fusuma 3.9.0
libinput 1.29.0

is this a bug?

It is not a bug. BRIGHTNESSUP and BRIGHTNESSDOWN are actually supported key codes in the fusuma-plugin-sendkey.

Check available keys on your device:

$ fusuma-sendkey -l

I think that your current device might not have brightness key capabilities.
fusuma-plugin-sendkey searches for keyboard devices with name patterns.
