when I try to run wsl2ip2winhosts.ps1 it will always throw the error -

I've tried to set permissions on host file for EVERYONE to FULL CONTROLL but still receiving the same error. I can edit it via Notepad but not with PS :(.

How did you make it to edit host file by PS?

Hey @kvetys Sorry for the late response. Been swamped with work.

Take a look at this line https://github.com/hndcrftd/wsl2ip2hosts/blob/master/ips2hosts.sh#L44

What happens there is that powershell is called, it executes another instance of powershell as Administrator (argument runas) and then the process that was run as Administrator executes the script wsl2ip2winhosts.ps1

That way it works on my Win 10. Are you trying to run it separately or from the bash script?
