ida pro 9.1 i64 db diff fails

Describe the bug
When i try to use the built plugin (commit/156cc32 binexport12_ida64.dll bindiff8_ida64.dll) in ida pro 9.1

while it does not work as i'd expect it with the bindiff app or plugin directly, it seems to run when using the binexport plugin and then compare like:
