Issue: Gemini CLI Entering Endless Text Loop

Hello,

When Gemini CLI starts solving a problem, it sometimes enters an endless loop where it keeps generating text without making any meaningful progress. The output becomes repetitive and nonsensical, and the loop continues nonstop.

As shown in the images I shared, the text keeps looping until the AI model eventually reaches its token limit. This behavior is problematic and leads to wasted resources and poor user experience.

Please investigate and address this issue. An AI assistant should be able to detect when it is looping and stop or recover gracefully instead of continuing indefinitely.
