Feature request: Disable swipe COMPLETELY and a few other things #1797

Please give us this option to disable swipe completely. I constantly find myself focused on typing something then I look up and whole words are missing or I'm in the center of the paragraph I was writing so everything is out of order. It is soo annoying! I'm a simple foo. I don't want it while I'm on the space bar or anything else.
Note: After writing this, I decided to try changing the spacebar behavior to 'swiping changes language' option and tested it out quickly so hopefully that works for me since I only use one language, but it would be nice to have the option to disable all swipe actions regardless.
