Rig functionality - frequency adjustment

• When mouse is over the rig window handle mouse wheel scroll events to change RX frequency in a step
• Use different tuning step size depending if keyboard modifier is used. For example if (left) [Ctrl] is held down go 500Hz steps, otherwise 100Hz.

yes, I wanted to implement this a long time ago. But there are always more important things. Unfortunately, there are more "wishes" than those who implement it.

what is the reasoning behind this suggestion? In my opinion, adjusting the VFO in fixed steps does not correspond to practical use. Normally, the VFO then always has to be readjusted. The VFO control is already included in the rig or the SDR user interface, and can be controlled from there.

In addition, this would be a function for controlling the rig from QLog, which would lead to further requests.

This change is not about adding something new to QLog. It is only about making the Rig widget behave the same way as in the New Contact. The changes proposed above are not fully implemented. Newly, the Rig widget will allow changing the frequency by 1 kHz using the mouse wheel. CTRL + mouse wheel will change the band. This is the same behavior as in the New Contact widget.

I will not make any further changes there, because as I have already written long ago, QLog is not an application for rig control. The rig itself has its own interface that the operator should use. QLog only displays values from the rig.

I was not aware of this function in the ‘New Contact widget’ and have never used it before. Hence the misinterpretation of the extension request. If there are users for this type of VFO setting from QLog, that's fine.
