generator from modified file does not work

I currently work on the lazySusan generator on the branch here : https://github.com/PtitLutinn/boxes_lady_suzan

Describe the bug
when I use the command boxes LazySusan [parameters] to generate the new files, the new file is generated with the old files. I used a fearly consistent change (remove the flex cut) to be sure but it doesn't change. I made change to the boxes/generators/lazysusan.py. Other changes (like syntax errors) where cautch by the commande (I receive an error and the file is not generated)

To Reproduce
difficult, it may be my install but it's a new install and it used to work and I didn't change the venv

Expected behavior
The file is generated using the newly modified generator file.

Difficult to say for sure. Python is prone to errors wrt .pyc files or pycache directories. Normally those should be updated automatically, but if the time stamps or permissions are messed up things can go wrong. Then there are sys.path issues that can occur.

You can try

import boxes.generators.lazysusan
print(boxes.generators.lazysusan.__file__)

to find out which file is actually used. If that doesn't help strace may help figuring out while files are read. Grepping for lazysusan should yield short enough results.

I did it and nothing. the strace doesn't show result for grep lazysusan.

I cleaned the python environement (start a new one), I cleaned the directory and nothing change. but If I put some syntax errors they show (sometimes after I do pip install .[dev], it seem to do something on the cache)

I also restarted the computer

This looks suspicious. I'd guess that this lazysusan_nael.py file also has a LazySusan class that is overshadowing the one you are trying to modify. Boxes.py does some weird dynamic loading that may lead to that.
