Decide how to deal with GIF images #5
Description
DocumentCloud has always produced page images as GIF files. This isn't a well-supported format among LLMs. What can we do about this?
- Find and document models that support GIF
- Transform images locally, using Pillow
- Start producing different image formats on the DocumentCloud side (Should we switch image formats? MuckRock/documentcloud#318)
At the very least, we should note this in the README.
