This is followup to PR etcd-io/etcd#16803

This issue is to track the documentation updates needed as a follow-up to PR etcd-io/etcd#16803. The changes made in that PR require updates to the relevant docs to reflect new functionality, configurations, or behaviors. Let's ensure the README and any other relevant documentation are updated accordingly to provide users with accurate and clear information.
