ESP-IDF VSCode extension v1.11.0 is broken on VS Code Insiders (VSC-1821)

Description

Issue: ESP-IDF extension will not load after updating to v1.11.0 with VS Code Insiders. This update also changed my esp-idf path from /Users/Shared/esp/v5.5.1/esp-idf to /Users/Shared/esp/v5.5 why would the extension update change my path? The extension was auto-updated it should not touch my existing path!!!

Expected behavior: Extension should load and build tools should work.

Other Steps to Reproduce

Additional information: I downgraded the esp-idf extension to v1.10.2 and the extension loads correctly and all tools work. So problem is definitely with v1.11.0 release of the extension.
