Please describe the issue you encountered:
Installation hangs

Steps to Reproduce

1. Launched EIM from eclipse IDE Version: 2025-12 (4.38.0) Build id: 20251204-0850
2. Use Custom Installation
3. Attempt to install ESP IDF using EIM for ESP32, c3, c5, s2, s3 version 5.5.1

Expected Behavior

Installation of tools

Actual Behavior

Hangs on Starting batch installation of 1 version(s): v5.5.1

Logs

Please attach logs from the app logs folder.
Where is the app logs folder?
Here are the Installation log messages from the IDE:

Hi
Can you please share the plugin version? If you are using the release v4.0 from Espressif-IDE there should be a button to generate bug report that should help you in sharing a complete zip for the required files.
It would be actually nice if you can kindly start with a fresh workspace and do all these steps and then share the logs from bug report in Espressif menu.

@alirana01 Ubuntu 25.04, downloaded espressif-ide today, hadn't used it before, same problem as the author.
