The ESP32-C6 includes:

• 3 MCPWM Timers
• 3 MCPWM Operators
• 2 Comparators per Operator
• 2 Generators per Operator

I’ve created a simple window_covering example which uses MCPWM to control a brushed DC motor (note: only the driver is implemented in app_driver.cpp; the Matter data model has not been created).

In the provided driver and example:

• Timer 0 and Operator 0 are initialized.
• Both comparators in Operator 0 are configured.
• Generators are mapped to GPIO 6 and GPIO 7 to control a single brushed DC motor (BDC) via PWM.

If you wish to add second motor, you will need to follow these steps:

• Initialize Timer 1 with Operator 1.
• Configure the associated comparators and generators.
• Assign appropriate GPIO numbers for the second motor control.

Steps to apply the patch in GitHub Codespaces:

• Download the patch to your local machine.
• Upload the patch file to the esp-lowcode-matter folder in your Codespaces workspace (right-click the folder in the file tree to upload).
• Open the Codespaces terminal , wait for Lowcode Is Ready and run:

git apply lowcode-Add-support-for-mcpwm-driver.txt

Or if you are using local setup then you can run the above command in esp-lowcode-matter directory.

Once applied, you can build and flash the window_covering product to your ESP32-C6 to test MCPWM
