Hi guys & everyone who is reading this.

As discussed on Gitter, it is quite possible that there will be no new releases of Danube Cloud. The reason is that the original DC creators have left years ago and even though I know them, they don't contribute to the project anymore. I was carying the development and maintenance for some time but the project is too complex for one person, even just to keep up with new releases of every integrated technlology.

This is call for help.

If there's at least 2-3 people willing to contribute to at least certain areas of the project, I can give you kickstart and support to get you (us) going.

FYI, these areas need attention before new release can come out:

• finish python code upgrade (the last release was on python2, the code is already converted to python3 but some obsolete imports need to be rewriten. I guess we're 70% done)
• upgrade python dependencies (mostly Django and Celery)
• move everything to supported OS and put it into containers
• automate upgrade of Zabbix

FYI what else is on the roadmap:
I have pre-researched how to support Linux and FreeBSD compute nodes, how to integrate Kubernetes with automated loadbalancers and persistent storage, detachable VM disks, terraform provider and other stuff to bring you closer to cloud provider status on your own HW.
