Dear @sgkang, @halbmy, @WouterDls, @mariacarrizo, @aignerlukas

I had thought of submitting an abstract to the EGU regarding SimPEG(empymod/emg3d) and pyGIMLi(empymod/emg3d). Below you see my quick braindump on this, very rough. I write you all because you all were working at some point in this realm. At some point I collected many examples in the devInv-repo, but recently it has been quiet. Maybe this would give a push to bring some of it over the finishing line :-)

Please let me know:

  • Would you like to be a co-author, or not? Any preference for you order in the author list?
  • If yes, could you please check your name and add your affiliation?
  • If yes, could you please have a look through and edit as you like? Including suggestions for a better title, content, etc etc.
  • Any feedback welcomed!

I sent you all an invite for this repo, so you should all have edit rights, so feel free to edit it online and push it.

In the end, the abstract has to be roughly 100-500 words; currently it has ~400 words.

Submission is for the session "Electromagnetic Induction in Geophysics: Data, Models, Inversions and Interpretations" (EMRP2.3): https://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU26/session/58388, organized by Shunguo Wang, Paula Rulff, Wouter Deleersnyder, Mitra Kangazian, and Pierre Wawrzyniak.
