Did you perhaps consider providing a .deb package for Debian-based distros?
Since AppImage is being retired and Flatpak has its own issues, providing a .deb package for a native installation method would be a good idea.
I assume that significant majority of users run Debian-based distros (Debian, Ubuntus, Mint) and this would be a preferred method of installation for them.
This would also make it possible to include normcap in deb-get:

Arch-based distros can already use the AUR package.
