The bounding box of `inline code` blocks is slightly offset to the bottom

It is barely noticeable, but the box that constitutes inline code elements is slightly bigger on the bottom :

The only places where it is more noticeable is when surrounded with characters like parenthesis, as it makes the parenthesis looks too up :

and finally in titles, where it makes the part of the title on the next line to close to the inline code :

That sure is a very tiny offset. Though to be fair, let's look at the caption of your ticket in Github:
