errors found in spaceline segments: [buffer-path]

I am using Emacs 27.2 on Windows. After installing this package, the mode line for scratch and dashboard buffer works, but the mode line for regular files does not show up. Upon further investigation using command spaceline-all-the-icons--debug-segments, I found the following error:

errors found in spaceline segments: [buffer-path]

My guess is that the Windows path parsing error? I am new to emacs, no idea how to solve this weird issue 🤷‍♂️ 😄
