I have a fix in the works for this, the current problem is the fix causes another bug. Right now the fix is to just not have SSE messages cause updates while the modal is up, but if the modal is closed in a way that doesn't generate an update the old unclaimed hint will still be on the screen. |

When a staff member attempts to respond to a hint directly from the unclaimed hints queue or view, the response is not submitted or saved correctly. The intended workflow (claiming the hint and responding simultaneously) fails. I believe this is because the htmx to submit the hint is no longer on the page.
