Problem while syncing deleted cases

One of my clients has been using Commcare Sync for nearly 3 years now, and we discovered that deleted cases cannot be synced. New records and updated records are synced, but deletions are not.

Is there something we are missing, or are we doing something wrong? Can someone guide us about this incident? Or is it a bug/an issue?
