How set hyphenationCallback for numbers ?

i made hyphenationCallback

 import hyphen from 'hyphen';
import pattern from 'hyphen/patterns/ru';

const hyphenator = hyphen(pattern);

const hyphenationCallback = (word) => {
  return hyphenator(word).split('\u00AD');
}

it works correct with words BUT id doesnt break pure numbers
for example if text is '89885556677' it doesnt break and text goes out of border
