Speech speed ignored or unpredictable

When generating audio, the default speed often results in a manic sounding voice, speaking way too quickly. Slowing the speed down a bit results in the voice tone shifting and/or the speed still being fast in some parts of the result.

Oh and I'll add, after each generation, the params reset to their defaults which is pretty annoying.
