Extension struggles to extract code blocks to markdown format

In case this is useful, I thought I'd share an example of where the extension struggles to grab a code block without pulling in a bunch of HTML tags.

I wasn't sure if this was just an issue with the Ruby docs or if it was syntax-highlighted code blocks in general, so I tried another site, but this one works fine.
