Better Sales / Discount relationship information

It would be very nice if there was a sale/discount relationship field you could add to an entry.

Use case: shop want to add more info about a discount or sale (e.g. a custom long text, some pictures,…). With a sale/discount relationship field, this could be related to the proper sale or discount. That way, when you are on a product page and a sale is applied to that product, you could show the content of the reverse related entry.

Example: a shop has a special sale e.g. "10% off all automowers". I know I can show the title of that sale on the product page when that specific sale is valid. But I need more info about that sale on the product page. I want to show the title ("10% off all automowers"), a text ("Until January 31 we offer a 10% discount on all automowers over €500. Get yours now!") and an image of a collection of automowers.
