FlyOOBE 2.1 is here!

Well,i'll admit it: I really dont like leaving things half-finished.

So after spending the last few days locked at home with a stubborn cold, I decided to put that time to use fueled by way too much hot chocolate… ehm, coffee ;)
Somewhere between caffeine, code, and questionable sleep schedules, FlyOOBE 2.0 went from "Preview chaos" to something unexpectedly stable and actually quite nice.

This release marks a major milestone, not just a redesign, but a redefinition
FlyOOBE has grown from a simple OOBE setup assistant into a true all-in-one Windows companion.
With the new modular engine, extensions are evolving into mini-apps within the app, offering powerful customization, automation, and personalization tools for Windows 11.
Some OOBE pages have already transformed into fully functional mini-apps themselves and a few names might sound familiar to long-time users, like Dumputer or CoTweaker.
(Those were once standalone apps… I'm not entirely sure what happened to them, but now their lightweight successors live on inside FlyOOBE's setup pages)

It's cleaner, smarter, and more unified, a platform slowly becoming an all-round control and enhancement hub for both enthusiasts and everyday users.

Well then… good night for now, at least for the next few hours 😅

What's new in 2.1

The UI introduced back in version 2.0 has now been fully finalized and cleaned up once more. The main form hasn’t looked this polished in a long time. You can now seamlessly switch between the OOBE and Extensions.

Going forward, the focus will shift even more toward Extensions, so a clean UI arrives at just the right time.

• Several debloating/cleanup modules have been bumped to a higher tier and now dig up even more (and even deeper) AI-infused junk. Still no AgenticOS takeover in sight — but with Microsoft’s latest moves… let’s just say: enjoy the peace while it lasts ;)
• Memory usage reduced even further
• Fixed various DPI-related issues
• Optimized extension loading
• Extensive code refactoring
