Is it possible to disable the postfix gXXX_tYYY to folders and data files?

When file names are set remotely, would it be possible to disable the postfix addition of gate/trigger to the folders and files?
Also, is there a way to ask that if a data directory is not present that it would be created?

Two parts. (1) You can take full control of file naming using existing call: setNextFileName(). I just tested this and you can indeed use names without g/t indices if you wish. (2) There is not at present a way to auto-create directory trees which was a safety mechanism against mis-specified paths, and this is not guaranteed to succeed on network shares. Please let me know if this is sufficient.
