More auth woes #19

I need help via zoom or google meet to figure out what I broke.
Trying to replace the login form, I seem to have broken the auth mechanism beyond repair.
As best I can tell, not only isn't a cookie getting generated anymore, but every attempt to redirect (with state) to a dashboard (instead of the home/landing page) for logged-in users isn't passing any request object - everything is curiously nil. I need guidance to figure out what I did wrong. (redirect-with-sesssion ...) assumes it's an HTMX call, and I'm not even sure why it's being called to redirect to the home page in the first place - it's a proper page, not an HTMX fragment.
Anyway, if you have any availability to examine what I'm doing wrong, I'd appreciate it.
