MacOS running G-flash

I've tried launching G-flash with iMac Monterey and Mojave, both cases it says G-flash application file to be corrupted hence cannot be run. In french, it says "« G-Flash » est endommagé et ne peut pas être ouvert. Vous devriez placer cet élément dans la Corbeille."

I've decided to directly download G-flash from https://www.sl-soft.de/en/gflash/ and now it works under Mojave. No idea the same application downloaded from the repository would not work (partially corrupted file), it seems a version difference: 1.0.3 versus 1.0.6
