Chat example does not work

I tried to run the chat example and I got this error in the console:

I followed step by step the readme.
What should I do to make it work?

Same here. Problem with token validation. Although I checked the token is verified with my API secret on JWT.

Hey there.

I just cloned the repo and follow the steps and got the project working, the dependency tree has been updated recently though.

This are my versions:

sdk-starter-node on  master is 📦 v1.0.0 via ⬢ v8.9.4 took 3s
➜ node --version
v8.9.4

sdk-starter-node on  master is 📦 v1.0.0 via ⬢ v8.9.4
➜ npm --version
6.2.0

sdk-starter-node on  master is 📦 v1.0.0 via ⬢ v8.9.4
➜ npm info twilio version
3.18.0

In my .env file I have values for: TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID, TWILIO_API_KEY, TWILIO_API_SECRET and TWILIO_CHAT_SERVICE_SID.

The only way I was able to repro your exact issue is to set a wrong TWILIO_CHAT_SERVICE_SID value.

Nope. Triple checked the Chat Service ID and its correct.

I managed to get this working by uncommenting the TWILIO_CHAT_SERVICE_SID environment variable in .env. I completely overlooked that the first time
