Feature request: “client ID” header #419
Description
Including a “client ID” header in our requests could help with serverside metrics. Since there isn’t much benefit to telling apart two client instances that are otherwise identical but happen to be deployed on two different hosts, we should figure out some way of allowing a user to “group” instances together. This ends up sounding more like an “application ID” so there are still some decisions to be made and details to iron out. More info coming soon.
