Integration fails setup without CO₂ Sensor

First of all thank you for all your work, and this incredibly detailed repo. I was just going through the setup process, for some other temperature sensors I have in my Home Assistant setup. Though, when I leave the CO₂ field blank, since I dont have a appropriate sensor, the integration fails to setup. It would be cool to be able to use the weather station, replacing the CO₂ dial with a larger temperature dial for example.

@roberto2lini Thank you! I do plan to support arbitrary gauge types in the future, so this integration won’t be limited to CO₂ sensors. As a temporary workaround, you could try defining a “dummy” CO₂ sensor to use the rest of the integration.

Also, could you please share your logs with debug logging enabled? You should see entries in the raw Home Assistant logs that match the integration type. That information would really help me debug the issue.

@TilmanGriesel thanks for the tip! I created a dummy CO2 sensor and it works now. Would be an awesome addition to be able to support other gauge types or not fail if you dont have a CO2 sensor.

Main Error messages from the debug log I saw before where:

2025-06-18 20:32:55.281 ERROR (MainThread) [custom_components.trmnl_weather_station] No CO2 sensor configured, cannot set up integration
