Information regarding Postgres Database setup

Hi there, I was looking to begin contributing to teammates to improve my java skills so I was looking through the setup documentation.

While I was attempting to set up the dev server, I kept running into the error of not having a local postgres database. I didn't see any sort of information regarding the local postgres database and only discovered information regarding setting up a postgres instance on docker when I came across the file build-dev.template.properties.

I'm not a particularly strong programmer so I'm not sure what the general sentiment is, but not having any obvious set up information regarding this database within the documentation made the backend setup very difficult. Did I perhaps miss the existing documentation or is there really none? If there's really none, then is it possible to make a note / issue to contribute information regarding the missing postgres database information to the starting documentation?

I also faced same issue, there is no detail about Postgres setup in development guidance. Have tried installing Postgres on my system and created a database called teammates. It didn't work.

In the development setup guide they have mentioned to use docker. Kindly install Docker on your machine and try running below mentioned command. This docker image contains Postgres and datastore emulator too. Hope this will resolve your query.
